Senior Software Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, maintainable features for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Valkey services.
• Design customer-specific solutions to meet the scale and needs of strategic partners.
• Automate internal processes to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
• Perform PR reviews and contribute to technical planning and backlog management.
• Mentor other engineers and help resolve complex customer issues.
• Improve the scalability and operational quality of database offerings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Valkey/Redis, or similar.
• Expert-level Python development skills.
• Advanced understanding of Linux OS and distributed systems.
• Experience with backup strategies and automated testing.
• Knowledge of white-labeling solutions and multi-tenancy challenges.
• English: Fluency (verbal and written) required

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud DBaaS production environments.
• Strong understanding of software and networking security.
