Salary: $77,000 – $85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage procurement activities for assigned materials using a Kanban pull-based replenishment system.
• Monitor consumption, supplier performance, and inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Create and maintain tracking tools to monitor demand trends and identify supply risks.
• Issue and maintain purchase orders ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve discrepancies.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers through regular communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Materials Management within a lean manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work onsite in Blauvelt, NY (Monday – Friday).
• Must successfully complete background checks and drug screening as a condition of employment.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Kanban replenishment.
