What you will do

• Lead the development of in-house simulation toolchains and CAE methods for all GM race programs.
• Manage and supervise a multi-disciplinary team of simulation and software engineers.
• Develop efficient RT capable multibody models to maximize vehicle on-track performance across race series.
• Define and implement best practices in vehicle dynamics target setting, R&D in CAE, and data analytics.
• Coordinate the flow of information between different inter-functional teams to ensure efficient development.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Simulation or Development Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience with NASCAR race vehicles and MBS models in Dymola and Modelica.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Functional Mockup Interface (FMI) standards.
• Experience deploying simulation tools within a professional race team environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days in-office) in Concord, North Carolina.
