What you will do

• Design and engineer data platforms to provide high-quality, harmonized datasets for strategic decision-making.
• Architect and develop data pipelines to cleanse, normalize, and transform raw data into refined datasets.
• Translate business objectives and requirements into technical data specifications and puzzles.
• Perform deep-dive data mining to uncover quality issues and initial insights.
• Manage the full data lifecycle to ensure information remains fresh, impactful, and aligned with technical requirements.

Requirements

• Expertise in data mining, data storage, and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tooling such as Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc.
• Proficiency with both relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in or able to work from Dallas, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud modernization and data modelling.
• Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Visual Studio.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
