TL;DR
Member of Technical Staff (Web3/Backend): Designing and building off-chain systems and infrastructure for institutional digital asset products with an accent on validator and staking architectures and custody integrations. Location: Hybrid in New York, NY
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 USD

What you will do
- Design and build off-chain systems, including validator and staking architectures, custody integrations, and compliance automation.
- Own end-to-end deployments using infrastructure-as-code, observability, and audit logging.
- Translate technical research and prototypes into production-grade systems with high rigor.
- Analyze emerging on-chain primitives to determine their application in institutional infrastructure.
- Take full ownership of system architecture and implementation.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, backend engineering, and production cloud infrastructure.
- Experience designing systems with strict reliability, security, and auditability requirements.
- Proven track record of taking technical ideas from prototype to production.
- Working knowledge of blockchain systems such as Ethereum, Solana, or validator operations.
- Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with regulated financial infrastructure or institutional capital markets workflows.
- Background in running large-scale validator infrastructure or staking systems.
- Familiarity with HSMs and secure key handling.
- Experience integrating with KYC/AML, treasury, or risk management systems.
