TL;DR
Senior Insights Analyst (Insights/Analytics): Building client analytics and presenting actionable recommendations with an accent on category expertise, rigorous multi-source analysis, and client onboarding/training. Focus on challenging client hypotheses, managing workload across client commitments, and translating Voice of Customer into insights for service model and UX topics.
Location: Oxford / Hybrid (typically 1 day per week in the Oxford office)
Salary: 36400–45000 GBP gross per year

What you will do
- Understand client business priorities and support goals through analytics services, including participation in business cycles like brand planning and range reviews.
- Set up client onboarding for analytics & insights services and deliver tactical training for Guided Analytics and tools (e.g., Connect Express, Discover).
- Deliver category expertise by engaging with client industries, categories, and key market trends; challenge client hypotheses with new perspectives.
- Create and present recommendations based on rigorous analysis using multiple data sources, strong business understanding, and commercial awareness.
- Manage workload independently by prioritizing client and internal commitments, maintaining clear stakeholder communication, and using work log trackers/project plans where applicable.
- Identify opportunities during day-to-day engagements and hand off opportunities to Account Development; collect Voice of Customer for UX and service model topics.
Requirements
- Experience creating and delivering presentations with strong story-telling skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident numerically with the ability to analyze data accurately and effectively with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time.
- Experience working in an analytical environment and building strong relationships with clients and internally.
- Understanding of the FMCG industry and trends; capable of leveraging Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
