What you will do

• Design and develop C++ software for the test and simulation framework (TSF).
• Develop TSF Graphical User Interface (GUI) elements.
• Implement and execute development tests (unit tests) and perform code reviews.
• Contribute to virtual engineering in mixed simulation and real hardware environments.
• Provide 2nd level rig support for AIDASS / MaTE and SI² simulation frameworks.
• Support software teams and customers in application development and system testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT / Information Systems.
• Proficiency in C++ and ADA following modern standards.
• Excellent programming skills in Java.
• Foundational knowledge of software design patterns, system programming, and cross-platform development.
• Fluency in English and German is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking, field busses, and distributed systems.
• Experience with avionic protocols (ARINC 429, TCP, UDP, HTTP).
• Experience with JavaFX, Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP / OSGi.
• Proficiency in Python.
