What you will do

• Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR) for the ground control station, ensuring technical soundness and proper documentation.
• Maintain product configurations, version statuses, BOMs/EBOMs, and release documentation using 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Plan and review test scopes, success criteria, and configuration baselines for engineering changes.
• Collaborate with flight test teams and operations to execute validation activities for release candidates.
• Ensure strict process compliance when moving products from development into serial production or operational deployment.
• Act as the primary technical interface between engineering, software, production, supply chain, and quality teams.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering, configuration management, or test engineering.
• Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Automotive Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of complex products integrating hardware, software, electronics, and mechanical components.
• Practical experience with Change Control Boards, ECRs, and PLM tools.
• Basic understanding of software topics including IP networking, protocols, and versioning.
• Ability to obtain appropriate security clearance and must be based in Munich or Berlin.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, aerospace, UAVs, robotics, or marine systems.
• Familiarity with V-model development processes and verification/validation workflows.
• Experience with flight testing, field testing, and prototype validation.
• Understanding of EBOM flows and production handover dependencies.
