What you will do

• Set up cabling machines and determine required materials based on shop orders and manufacturing specifications.
• Load pay-off and take-up reels and thread components through lay plates and closing dies.
• Adjust lay control for proper length and set up helical or longitudinal taping heads.
• Inspect start-up samples for color sequence, overall diameter, tape overlap, and visual defects.
• Record all completed work on tally sheets and Daily Machine Reports.
• Perform daily maintenance checks of hoists and other equipment.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate machinery in compliance with safety standards.
• Basic mathematics and adequate verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Leominster, MA
