What you will do

• Match color and gloss to customer-requested samples for metal substrates.
• Measure, weigh, and mix colorants according to specific formulations.
• Collaborate with scientists to ensure color matches meet performance expectations.
• Create and properly label standards and customer samples.
• Retrieve raw materials and supplies from the production area.
• Operate fork trucks as required for material handling.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.
• Strong math skills with the ability to read and follow weight fractions and measurements.
• Aptitude for mechanical, numerical, and verbal tasks.
• Ability to obtain a license to operate fork trucks.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a laboratory or chemical plant.
• Experience with paint or coating processes.
• Basic computer skills.
