DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Architect and build scalable environments primarily in AWS and additionally in Azure.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, security scanning, and deployment orchestration.
• Implement comprehensive observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives, including infrastructure hardening, IAM policies, and secrets management.
• Containerize applications and manage orchestration across an international application stack.
• Establish company-wide DevOps best practices, standards, and strategy.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in AWS and Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.
• Tangible experience with Linux, Containers, and related technologies.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and AWS CDK.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL Server, MySQL, and Amazon Aurora.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Must be based in Berlin or Houston.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD in hybrid Cloud Environments.
• Knowledge of backend testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with the Finance or FinTech industry.
