Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal (Office attendance required Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do

  • Develop and innovate features focused on business growth, including plans, pricing strategy, and the payment experience.
  • Optimize the customer onboarding and trial experience to broaden the application's reach.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers in a high-ownership environment.
  • Pair with other engineers and collaborate with quality engineering teams to ensure success.
  • Propose and participate in cross-team initiatives to improve engineering efficiency and team happiness.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in software development.
  • 3+ years of experience developing backend applications for a significant user base.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a product-focused company.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal to support a hybrid work model.

Nice to have

  • Prior knowledge of payments, user management systems, or business growth.
  • Experience with AWS and deploying, testing, and monitoring cloud applications.
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to drive engineering efficiency and creativity.
  • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and understandable code.
