TL;DR

Location: On-site in Vancouver (5 days a week)

Salary: $61,900 - $78,000 per year

What you will do

  • Process full-cycle semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees.
  • Prepare tax forms such as T4s and issue Records of Employment (ROEs).
  • Maintain employee payroll records and manage year-end procedures and tax filings.
  • Reconcile payments and payroll changes for various extended health benefit carriers.
  • Apply pay policies regarding vacation, leave of absence, and government regulations.
  • Generate historical compensation data and HRIS reports for the executive leadership team.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Payroll and Benefits administration experience for Canada and/or the US.
  • Completed or working towards Payroll Compliance Professional designation.
  • Knowledge of federal, provincial, and state payroll regulations and requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and GSuite.
  • Must be based in Vancouver for full-time on-site work (5 days a week).

  • Experience with US pay and benefits programs.
