What you will do

• Lead enterprise data governance, data quality, and metadata management initiatives.
• Act as Data Steward for assigned domains, serving as a key liaison between business and technical teams.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics and KPIs, driving root cause analysis and remediation.
• Maintain business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data lineage within Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations including GLBA, NCUA, FFIEC, and CFPB.
• Manage data access governance and RBAC to ensure secure and compliant data usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or data-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, stewardship, or data management.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks (GLBA, FFIEC, NCUA, etc.).
• Must reside in CT, NY, MA, or PA.

Nice to have

• Data governance certifications such as DAMA CDMP or DGSP.
• Experience with MDM and enterprise governance programs.
• Experience implementing data catalog or metadata platforms.
