TL;DR

Business Analyst (Data Governance): Driving enterprise data governance initiatives and improving data quality across the organization with an accent on metadata management, data access models, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment. Focus on bridging business and technical teams to deliver scalable governance solutions that support analytics and AI capabilities.

Location: Hybrid (must be able to work 2 days per week in the Dublin office)

What you will do

  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation for data governance frameworks and metadata management.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define critical data assets, business rules, and governance processes.
  • Facilitate workshops to capture requirements and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • Analyze existing data sources to identify quality issues and support remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with Agile delivery and technology teams to implement effective governance solutions.
  • Monitor and report on governance KPIs, adoption metrics, and program progress.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in data, analytics, or technology environments.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality programs.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and facilitating cross-functional workshops.
  • Knowledge of data catalogues and metadata management platforms like Atlan, Collibra, or Purview.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
