Salary: $101,600 - $152,400

What you will do

• Design and execute novel in vitro models to support early screening and investigative safety assessment.
• Deploy fit-for-purpose investigative assays and methodologies to address emerging safety questions.
• Utilize laboratory automation and data analytics tools (R, Python, MATLAB) to accelerate high-throughput experiments.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate mechanisms of toxicity and assess human relevance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to refine approaches for predicting and translating drug safety risks.
• Mentor junior scientists and maintain external collaborations across academic and industrial settings.

Requirements

• PhD with 2+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or Bachelor's with 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry or academic experience.
• Expertise in the design and interpretation of biochemical and cell-based screening assays (iPSC-derived models, primary cells).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB.
• Experience in immunoassay development, including multiplexed ELISA and flow cytometry.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills to derive insights from complex datasets.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Boston, MA five days per week.
