Salary: $100,000 - $176,000 annually (depending on pay zone)

What you will do

• Manage daily lab operations, including equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate study logistics, moderate human-subject research studies, and ensure participant safety and data integrity.
• Build rapid prototypes for vision science experiments and demos using Lens Studio, Unity, or similar AR platforms.
• Implement experimental stimuli, UI flows, and interactive behaviors required for research studies.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and designers to translate research needs into practical implementations.
• Act as a liaison between research and technical teams to communicate constraints and possibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (MA/PHD preferred) in Vision Science, Perception Psychology, HCI, or Computer Science.
• Experience in programming for VR/AR using applications like Lens Studio or Unity.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Experience running experimental studies with packages such as Psychtoolbox or PsychoPy.
• Skill in image processing and data analysis using Matlab, Python, R, or JMP.
• Must be able to work from an office in Boulder or Santa Monica.
