What you will do

• Build end-to-end distributed agentic AI solutions that are reliable and scalable for equity research.
• Design and ship LLM-powered systems integrating orchestration, retrieval, tool use, and operational safeguards.
• Define engineering standards and architectural patterns to ensure AI systems remain maintainable and scalable.
• Mentor other engineers and establish quality standards and best practices across the team.
• Own the long-term maintainability, observability, and cost efficiency of AI infrastructure.
• Monitor model quality drift, prompt alignment, and general operational health of production systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining software systems.
• Strong backend expertise in a strongly typed language, preferably TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of AWS and cloud computing primitives.
• Deep understanding of agentic AI concepts (tool use, function calling, state machines, RAG, and evaluation).
• Proven experience leading an AI systems team and operating multiple GenAI/LLM systems in production.

Nice to have

• Experience with frameworks like LangChain, Mastra, or LangGraph.
• Experience building human-in-the-loop evaluation pipelines and model fine-tuning.
• Genuine interest in investing, public markets, and fundamental business analysis.
