What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through state medical cannabis registry requirements and certification processes.
• Support physicians and medical assistants with daily operational needs, including patient record preparation and eFax management.
• Monitor and optimize provider schedules to maximize appointment availability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) while adhering to strict privacy and security standards.
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and handle Protected Health Information (PHI) with the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare administration, patient services, or clinical coordination.
• Proven experience handling PHI and thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written) for professional interaction with patients and providers.
• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work EST hours based in Florida.
