Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 base plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Design and maintain end-to-end portal solutions in Ruby on Rails to support endpoint health, troubleshooting, and remediation.
• Build and optimize portal workflows, views, and notifications that make agent health signals actionable at fleet scale.
• Partner with agent engineers to translate backend diagnostics and platform capabilities into effective user-facing experiences.
• Collaborate with product management to break down platform requirements into well-scoped technical tasks.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and participate in technical design discussions to balance usability and maintainability.
• Partner with Support teams to improve troubleshooting workflows and reduce investigation friction.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing complex software products or platform capabilities.
• 5+ years of production experience building software with Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Postgres and ORMs like ActiveRecord.
• Experience building platform capabilities that translate backend systems into scalable product experiences.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and production environments.

• Experience using AI coding agents to accelerate development.
