What you will do

• Write functional and design specifications for features related to traffic forwarding in cloud data centers.
• Independently implement and test solutions using C, C++, and Python.
• Develop automated test programs to validate software features and debug issues.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and System Test Engineers to analyze and resolve network problems.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews within the team.
• Manage project tasks from definition to deployment, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• BSc, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of post-graduate work experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX or Linux environments.
• Understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, RIP, IS-IS, PIM).
• Ability to design and implement solutions for distributed systems or packet forwarding engines.
