Salary: $120,000 - $135,000 yearly

What you will do

• Design and maintain reliable systems for payment processing, payout scheduling, and transaction reconciliation.
• Integrate with banks and third-party payment processors using ACH, wire transfers, and digital wallets.
• Architect distributed services with a focus on auditability, security, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and Product teams to meet regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements.
• Lead technical discussions on scalability, reliability, and fraud prevention in payment systems.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD, monitoring, and observability for financial workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET (Web API), and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing, banking integrations, or financial transaction systems.
• Proficiency with event-driven architectures and queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as PCI DSS, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Must be able to travel occasionally within the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Mobile development experience (.NET MAUI, Objective-C, Android).
• Knowledge of SEPA or real-time payment rails.
• Background in ledgering systems, accounting workflows, or treasury operations.
