What you will do

• Characterize and test high-density 200G and 400G PAM-4 optical modules for ML/AI applications.
• Configure advanced DSP-based SerDes and assess compliance with IEEE, OIF CEI, and PCIe standards.
• Develop test benches and specifications for production-level validation.
• Perform system-level testing at leading datacom and telecom operator sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify hardware issues and drive technical resolutions.
• Analyze measurement results to guide design teams through product definition and debug cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on laboratory experience characterizing DSP-based high-speed optical systems.
• Proven expertise using state-of-the-art optical and high-speed electronic test equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for scientific computing and lab automation (pandas, numpy).
• Proficiency with ADS simulations.
• Knowledge of high-speed optical Ethernet and PCIe Gen6/7 protocols.
