Compensation: €65,000 - €72,000 yearly

What you will do

• Lead the design and evolution of complex, scalable backend systems and services.
• Architect and build reusable backend codebases, shared services, and internal libraries.
• Design and maintain robust APIs, data models, and service integrations.
• Own backend features end-to-end from estimation to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Frontend, QA, and DevOps.

Requirements

• Solid backend engineering experience on production systems.
• Strong expertise in Golang and concurrent service development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or gRPC.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and optimization.
• Must be based in or able to work from Paris, France.
• Commitment to delivering quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of distributed systems (concurrency, networking, caching).
• Experience with microservices architectures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity.
