TL;DR
Sr Training Specialist UNL (Training & L&D): Develop training curriculum, set learning strategy, and facilitate in-person and/or virtual learning experiences with an accent on adult learning principles, measurable learner progress, and performance-focused learning solutions. Focus on designing complex learning programs, coaching training specialists, and continuously improving training effectiveness using data and feedback.

What you will do
- Analyze ambiguous business needs to define skill-building requirements and select facilitation methodologies.
- Consult with business and executive leaders to identify training needs and develop learning solutions and tools.
- Facilitate in-person and/or virtual learning; support development, testing, and operationalization of new learning experiences.
- Design, develop, and manage learning and performance-focused solutions; define learning strategy and delivery methods.
- Manage complex learning programs and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders across multiple delivery channels.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve training effectiveness; revise materials based on feedback and maintain training records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 6–8 years of experience delivering training in-person and/or virtually.
- Experience designing courses using an instructional design model (e.g., ADDIE).
- Ability to write learning objectives and create lesson plans using Bloom’s taxonomy.
- Experience developing asynchronous learning solutions (eLearning) and using eLearning development tools and learning management systems.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong written/oral communication; ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
