What you will do

• Build and maintain the transformation layer using dbt to turn raw data into clean, reliable models.
• Establish data modeling standards, naming conventions, and quality testing from the ground up.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, building prevention and alerting solutions.
• Develop dashboards in Looker and define core business metrics for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations for marketing and operations.
• Potentially design and implement AI-based solutions for ad performance and media buying automation.

Requirements

• Fluent English required.
• Proven SQL skills including complex joins, JSON/Array manipulation, and parameterized scripts.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and modern cloud data stacks (GCP, BigQuery, Airflow).
• Strong grasp of ETL, data warehousing concepts, and data infrastructure building.
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical data work and business decision-making.
• Must be based in Lithuania, Poland, Mexico, Romania, Argentina, or Brazil.

Nice to have

• Experience in DTC e-commerce, health and wellness, or subscription businesses.
• Familiarity with marketing data sources like Meta Ads, GA4, or Shopify.
• Python or scripting skills for automation.
• Prior experience as an early or first data hire.
• Experience building AI-based solutions for ad performance optimization.
