What you will do

• Design and build robust dbt models on Databricks to transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready datasets.
• Define and implement KPI logic in collaboration with business and analytics stakeholders.
• Maintain and evolve the semantic layer, ensuring data products are reliable, tested, and performant.
• Independently onboard new data domains, exploring structures and meaning with limited guidance.
• Act as the connective tissue between data engineers and analysts, translating needs into technical tasks.
• Apply software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and CI/CD.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a closely related role.
• Strong, hands-on proficiency with dbt (Core or Cloud).
• Experience working on Databricks or comparable cloud platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data vault, or similar warehousing patterns.
• SQL excellence including complex transformations, window functions, and query optimization.
• Must have the right to work in Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or Germany.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SaaS GTM tooling and metrics like Amplitude or HubSpot.
• Experience with Python for data transformation or pipeline orchestration.
• Exposure to BI/visualization layers such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Background in a multi-brand or portfolio company context.
