What you will do

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP using infrastructure as code.
• Manage cloud networking components including VPCs, load balancers, DNS, and firewall rules.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable, repeatable deployments.
• Design and maintain observability infrastructure, including metrics collection and log aggregation.
• Implement and maintain security and compliance controls for a regulated research environment.
• Champion containerization best practices and support containerized workload deployments.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency with GCP (AWS or Azure experience considered).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and Linux administration.
• Experience scripting infrastructure tasks in Python or similar languages.

Nice to have

• Experience in a healthcare or life sciences environment and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with GCP-native observability tooling.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Google Cloud Professional certification.
