VP, Enterprise Procurement (Healthcare)

Location: Charlotte, NC; office-based role with 1–20% travel within the US

Salary: $205,000–$380,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead a unified enterprise procurement strategy across all business units and align sourcing priorities with business and financial goals.
• Drive spend visibility, cost optimization, efficiency, risk mitigation, and measurable value creation.
• Lead enterprise sourcing, contracting, high-value negotiations, and supplier relationship and performance management.
• Establish procurement policies and controls and ensure regulatory, contractual, and supplier-risk compliance.
• Implement procurement tools and systems, standardize processes, and develop analytics and reporting capabilities.
• Partner with executive and business-unit leaders, lead the procurement organization, and report directly to the CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 12 years of applicable experience required.
• Ability to operate ethically and compliantly, build relationships with senior leaders and external partners, and demonstrate strong financial and business acumen.
• Superior verbal, oral, and presentation communication skills, with strong problem-solving, follow-through, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to drive policy and process initiatives, lead change, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively in a challenging business environment.
• Ability to leverage technology and analytics to improve internal audit effectiveness.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in a related function, including vendor or partner negotiations and measurable cost savings.
• Proven experience executing a centralized procurement transformation and experience in change management.
• Ability to operate computer software, communicate effectively in person and electronically, remain stationary for prolonged periods, and work in close quarters with peers and interruptions.
