What you will do

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites for enterprise applications.
• Review technical specifications and requirements to define test coverage and identify risks.
• Collaborate with software engineers and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Investigate defects through log analysis, database validation, and application troubleshooting.
• Validate functionality across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in Costa Rica and able to work remotely from within the country.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks and API testing.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and AWS environments.
• Background in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
