Policy Analyst

Location: Arlington, VA; on-site at the Pentagon

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate policy staff actions across the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
• Coordinate Secretary and Under Secretary of Defense issuances according to established policy procedures.
• Evaluate policy documents for defense intelligence, counterintelligence, security, law enforcement, and intelligence-related requirements.
• Coordinate policy reviews with DoD components and Intelligence Community stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues in the policy issuance process, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions.
• Participate in DoD, Intelligence Community, and interagency meetings, working groups, presentations, and briefings.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility required.
• At least 5 years of experience working within the Department of Defense.
• Experience coordinating DoD issuances.
• Ability to evaluate policy documents and coordinate issues across Federal government stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with the DoD Issuance Portal System and the USD(I&S) Policy Portal.
