TL;DR
Lead CX/UX Designer (Fintech): Leading the experience strategy for a portfolio of tax and accounting products with an accent on AI-enabled workflows and complex B2B ecosystems. Focus on driving human-centered design, mentoring a team of designers, and aligning product roadmaps with regulatory and business requirements.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Kingston, UK. The role requires onsite presence for interviews and potentially ongoing work.

What you will do
- Define and drive the experience vision across the UK Tax & Accounting product portfolio.
- Lead the design strategy for AI-powered, intelligent, and agentic product experiences.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps, discovery activities, and delivery outcomes.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of 4–5 UX designers.
- Apply service design methodologies including ecosystem mapping and end-to-end journey modeling.
- Ensure consistent application of the product design system and maintain high standards of accessibility.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX, Product, or CX design within complex B2B software environments.
- Proven experience leading design strategy across multiple products or portfolios.
- Demonstrated experience in direct people leadership and team development.
- Strong understanding of Lean UX, Agile methodologies, and customer-centered product development.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design collaboration tools.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and comfortable with onsite requirements in Kingston.
Nice to have
- Experience within Tax & Accounting, Financial Services, Legal Technology, or Compliance industries.
- Familiarity with LLM concepts, prompt design, and AI evaluation methodologies.
- Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS fundamentals.
