What you will do

• Support and enhance operational resilience frameworks across UK and European entities.
• Lead resilience activities including IBS mapping, scenario testing, and remediation tracking.
• Coordinate governance activities and regulatory readiness, including DORA and UK operational resilience requirements.
• Drive accountability through governance reporting, metrics, and action management.
• Partner across Risk, Compliance, Finance, Claims, Audit, Legal, and Operations to embed operational initiatives into business-as-usual.
• Deliver governance materials and insight for executive and board audiences, including business continuity planning and oversight frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience in operational resilience, governance, risk, operations, or change within regulated financial services (insurance experience advantageous).
• Strong understanding of operational controls, regulatory frameworks, and governance structures.
• Demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership and complex delivery programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong project delivery mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and drive outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience across UK and European insurance environments.
• Knowledge of Solvency II and SMCR.
• Exposure to governance redesign, operational transformation, and Microsoft collaboration platforms.
