Backend Engineer (Backstage)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop, customize, and maintain internal developer platforms and self-service tooling using Backstage.io.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices that integrate with multiple internal and external systems.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and resilient container orchestration.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation principles, and RESTful API designs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Recent hands-on experience with Backstage.io.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluency in English (B2) and legal right to work in Portugal.

• Experience with GraphQL.
