TL;DR

Director, Content Strategy & Thought Leadership (EdTech): Leading brand campaigns and executive thought leadership initiatives to shape industry perception and drive engagement with an accent on integrated content strategy across digital, social, and earned media. Focus on building a credible voice for the company and its C-suite leaders within the higher education and workforce innovation sectors.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute an integrated content strategy across digital, social, experiential, and print channels.
  • Design an omnichannel content calendar to maximize the impact of reports, events, and brand initiatives.
  • Lead executive thought leadership planning, including ghostwriting and editorial development for C-suite leaders.
  • Collaborate with Public Affairs and PR agencies to secure speaking engagements, media interviews, and podcast features.
  • Implement data-driven SEO and AEO strategies to enhance digital reputation and brand visibility.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of event participation, from abstract submissions to post-event content amplification.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in thought leadership, content strategy, or marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and executing full brand campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to capture unique executive and brand voices.
  • Experience developing social media strategies, particularly for LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Familiarity with the conference and podcast landscape in education or technology industries.
  • Must be based in the US to fulfill the remote requirements of this role.

Nice to have

  • Background in B2B, higher education, or EdTech.
  • Direct experience partnering with or supporting senior leaders on communications planning.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics platforms to inform content decisions.
