What you will do

• Build and own full-stack features across React/TypeScript frontend and C++/Python backend.
• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency data pipelines for real-time safety event streams.
• Develop REST APIs and async backend services to power customer dashboards and alerting workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, and Research teams to translate safety intelligence into actionable interfaces.
• Contribute to GCP-based cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure scalability.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to iterate quickly on product features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful full-stack ownership.
• Proven track record in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York.
• Strong communication skills and a product-oriented mindset.
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C++ in high-performance, low-latency, or real-time systems.
• Experience with Python, REST APIs, and data processing pipelines.
• Proficiency with React and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures or streaming systems.
