Director – Coding, Audit, Compliance & Operational Excellence (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight for coding, audit, compliance, and revenue cycle management engagements.
• Advise clients on coding, billing, revenue integrity, risk adjustment, and documentation improvement.
• Lead RADV/HCC audits and evaluate provider documentation and coding accuracy.
• Deliver executive-level presentations, actionable recommendations, and audit-defensible work products.
• Mentor managers, auditors, and consulting staff while maintaining engagement quality standards.
• Support business development through client relationships, proposals, industry events, publications, and speaking engagements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of healthcare industry experience, including revenue cycle management and healthcare operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in HCC/risk adjustment coding and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, E/M documentation guidelines, CMS regulations, and payer requirements.
• Experience with coding, billing, denials, reconciliation, and revenue cycle processes.
• CPC, CPMA, and CRC credentials are required.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, quality, compliance, and client-facing skills; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
