TL;DR

Information Security Administrator: Assisting the security team in maintaining ISO 27001/27701 compliance and managing security controls with an accent on risk assessment, incident resolution, and audit support. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to London or Slough, UK (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Administer and maintain ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 certified management systems.
  • Investigate and resolve security incidents while maintaining risk registers.
  • Complete supplier security assessments and support internal/external audits.
  • Assist business areas with information security enquiries and policy adherence.
  • Support management reviews by providing relevant security metrics and insights.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK (London or Slough area).
  • Basic understanding of information security concepts (CIA triad, risk, controls).
  • Awareness of ISO 27001 or similar standards.
  • Knowledge of GDPR or data protection principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Degree in Information Security, IT, or equivalent entry-level experience.

Nice to have

  • ISO 27001 Foundation, Lead Implementer, or Lead Auditor certification.
  • ISO 27701 Foundation certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ or CISM certification.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, networks, or cloud services.
