TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (SaaS): Designing scalable B2B experiences for education and dry cleaning verticals with an accent on end-to-end design processes and design systems. Focus on translating user needs into elegant interfaces and collaborating across global time zones (US/Australia).

Location: Must be based in Australia and have full working rights. Preference for candidates in Melbourne, but remote within Australia is considered.

What you will do

• Drive product strategy by translating user needs and business goals into elegant, scalable designs.
• Lead the end-to-end design process from ideation, research, and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and QA.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers across US and Australian time zones.
• Evolve the centralized design system to support accessibility and global scale.
• Conduct and synthesize user research to guide product direction.
• Mentor other designers and facilitate design critiques and workshops.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in product design with a focus on B2B or SaaS products.
• Full working rights in Australia are required.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and prototyping.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, user empathy, and responsive web/mobile design.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within distributed teams across different time zones.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles (WCAG).
• Experience working across multiple industries or complex vertical software.
• Background in design mentorship or team leadership.
• Familiarity with Agile and cross-functional product development environments.
