Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (1-2 days per week in office)

What you will do

• Own the Financial Services product backlog, including clearing, settlement, invoicing, and payment integrations.
• Translate financial business needs from stakeholders (CFO, Legal, Compliance) into technical requirements for developers.
• Lead financial transaction processes focusing on reconciliation, error handling, chargebacks, and fraud prevention.
• Manage integrations with external payment service providers, acquirers, and banks (e.g., Stripe, Datatrans).
• Ensure development output matches regulatory precision and define KPIs for transaction success and SLA adherence.
• Oversee the complete FS lifecycle from contract setup to dispute management and reporting.

Requirements

• Senior experience in product management or ownership within fintech, payments, or transaction-heavy SaaS.
• Proven expertise in payment flows, clearing/settlement, invoicing, reconciliation, and fraud prevention.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as PSD2, BaFin, AML/KYC, and VAT.
• Solid understanding of API/product integrations, ideally with B2B APIs or roaming standards like OCPI/OICP.
• English: C1 proficiency (fluent) required.
• Location: Must be based in Berlin.

Nice to have

• Experience in eMobility, roaming, or energy trading.
• Exposure to fraud detection, risk management tools, or ERP systems.
• Experience working in scale-up environments.
