What you will do

• Develop and evolve the hirify.globalOS Platform Abstraction Layer (PAL) to support new devices and features.
• Architect hirify.globalOS components with a focus on modularity, portability, and clean abstraction layers.
• Build tools and infrastructure to support platform portability across diverse hardware and software ecosystems.
• Write high-performance, reliable C/C++ code designed for seamless portability to new platforms.
• Debug complex system issues to optimize performance and improve overall product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ship new features on schedule.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing Linux-based consumer electronics products.
• Expert-level proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Proven track record in API design and developing portable, cross-platform code.
• Success with embedded Linux development projects.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• AI literacy and curiosity regarding Generative AI tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Wi-Fi, audio/video streaming, or secure video playback technologies.
• Familiarity with consumer product user interfaces and networking functionality.
