What you will do

• Identify and resolve business operational challenges by translating complex needs into technical roadmaps.
• Design and maintain high-performance Web Applications and Microservices using Python (FastAPI) and MVC architecture.
• Architect and implement internal services and integrations following REST best practices for scalability.
• Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, communicating technical value to non-technical stakeholders.
• Research and adopt new tools to automate high-touch manual processes.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, from data schema design to Unix-based operational support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python and/or Java.
• Deep knowledge of modern asynchronous frameworks, preferably FastAPI.
• Proven experience building integrated web applications using REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Advanced proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Solid experience with Unix/Linux systems, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Must be based in the APAC region.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Fintech or Crypto industries.
• Familiarity with Treasury Management or Compliance (KYC/AML) systems.
• Experience in building and scaling internal business automation tools.
