What you will do

• Own the underlying data layer, identifying gaps and partnering with Data Engineering to resolve quality issues at the source.
• Design and build silver and gold-layer tables to support downstream dashboards and analyses.
• Translate business concepts into data features, including user segments, lifecycle stages, and profitability metrics.
• Create shared dimensions and metric definitions to be reused across the BI portfolio.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business decisions and build complex, cross-domain dashboards.

Requirements

• Production-grade SQL skills, including window functions, complex joins, and performance tuning on large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python for data work, specifically with pandas and PySpark.
• Experience working in a modern lakehouse environment, preferably Databricks, with Delta tables and medallion architecture.
• Proven track record of transforming messy transactional data into usable business assets.
• Experience building reusable data models, semantic layers, or metric definitions.
