NIS2 Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: Hybrid in the Netherlands, with at least one day per week at the Leiden office

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the NIS2 compliance project across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and regulatory milestones.
• Coordinate cybersecurity, IT, legal, compliance, and operational teams.
• Support the interpretation and implementation of NIS2 requirements across different countries.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops and prepare reporting for senior management and project stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate project risks, issues, and resource constraints while improving cybersecurity governance and compliance processes.

Requirements

• Proven project management experience in complex international or regulatory-driven environments.
• Experience with cybersecurity projects and exposure to NIS2 or related cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
• Previous experience in the renewable energy or broader energy sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multicultural environments.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating multiple teams and priorities.
• Fluent English and residence in the Netherlands are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with European cybersecurity regulations and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing cross-border projects in highly regulated industries.
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or another relevant project management certification.
• Additional European languages.
