Salary: $185,000 - $215,000 USD

What you will do
- Design and architect large new features and services on a cloud-native platform to increase automation and security of custody systems.
- Develop and enhance internal and external transaction and inventory management systems.
- Build and improve internal and external staking workflow management systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend teams (trading, lending, settlement), UI/UX teams, and DevOps/infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expert software engineering skills in Java (preferred), Scala, Kotlin, or C#.
- Solid computer science fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with the full commercial development lifecycle, including agile planning and production support.
- Must be based in New York, NY for a hybrid work arrangement.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Technical understanding of crypto, digital assets, or experience in fintech.
- Familiarity with reactive frameworks (e.g., Vertx), domain-driven design, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of the Java threading model and concurrency.
