What you will do

• Lead and develop protocol engineering teams, including validator, Solana, and Chainlink units.
• Provide deep technical guidance on protocol-level challenges and incident response.
• Define and maintain a forward-looking protocol strategy aligned with business goals.
• Manage operational cadences, capacity planning, and resource sequencing across teams.
• Act as the technical bridge between protocol evolution and internal engineering execution.
• Represent the protocol function in high-stakes commercial and client-facing discussions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Demonstrated technical depth in at least two of: Ethereum, Solana, or Chainlink.
• Proven track record in managing and developing technical teams in high-stakes environments.
• Strong operational fluency in capacity planning, incident response, and team logistics.
• Ability to translate complex protocol concepts for diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High agency and ability to drive strategy within a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building or running validator/RPC infrastructure at institutional scale.
• Familiarity with Solana runtime, validator client architecture, or Chainlink CCIP.
• Background working alongside tier-1 financial institutions as an engineering counterpart.
• Experience with staking economics, protocol governance, or technical due diligence.
