What you will do

• Join the platform engineering team and work with engineering management and product partners to evolve internal systems and platforms.
• Own cross-cutting technologies that improve delivery performance, developer experience, reliability, and end-to-end customer experience.
• Design and implement platform solutions across infrastructure, application foundations, developer tooling, CI/CD, and observability.
• Apply an SRE mindset to mature operational health and drive state-of-the-art reliability and performance.
• Support other engineers by improving software practices via code review, pair programming, and design sparring.
• Maintain pragmatic development standards and help establish guidelines for product development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in SRE, DevOps, or equivalent teams.
• Experience in platform engineering with technologies such as TypeScript, GraphQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, AWS, containerization (EKS/ECS), serverless, developer tooling, and infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi/Terraform).
• Strong ownership of platform reliability, performance, and security for high-growth platforms, including test/release discipline and operational hygiene.
• Ability to contribute to complex platform projects: understand requirements, drive quality, and deliver features.
• Pragmatic, flexible, and independent problem-solving in ambiguous environments with shifting deadlines.
• Excellent concise communication and ability to articulate effort vs. impact tradeoffs.
