Manager I, Engineering - AI Platform - Training & Serving (AI)

What you will do

• Manage and grow the Training & Serving team, directly leading 10+ engineers.
• Define the technical roadmap in alignment with AI Platform and Applied AI goals.
• Lead the development of infrastructure for distributed foundation-model training and serving at scale.
• Work with core platform teams to adapt storage, infrastructure, and data pipelines.
• Build strong partnerships across engineering, product, science, infrastructure, and tooling teams.
• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and hands-on coding.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience leading software engineering teams as a tech lead or people manager.
• Strong backend, data engineering, and infrastructure experience.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Track record of delivering high-quality software on schedule and making decisions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Experience using AI coding tools and validating, critiquing, and refining AI-generated output.
