Fullstack Engineer (React, Java)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer (React, Java): Designing and developing functionalities for next-generation mission control systems of ESA missions with an accent on the Ground Control Segment and international collaboration. Focus on building software for space projects and implementing software design patterns in a distributed environment.

Location: Hybrid in Spain (Tres Cantos, Madrid, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Boecillo, Valladolid, Sevilla, Valencia). Relocation package available.

What you will do

• Design and develop functionalities for next-generation mission control systems of ESA missions.
• Develop systems for the Ground Control Segment of space missions.
• Participate in projects for the European Space Agency (ESA) and EUMETSAT.
• Collaborate within an international team distributed across several European countries.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java, Maven, and Git.
• Experience with React and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of software design patterns.
• Must be based in Spain or eligible to relocate to one of the specified office locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Karaf, and OSGi.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus, and SonarQube.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
