What you will do

• Perform CAD 3D design of chassis platforms and concept components with a focus on industrialization.
• Execute simulations for flexible chassis parts, such as brake hoses and cooling systems, and retractable body parts.
• Create tire envelopes according to ETRTO and design aerodynamic surfaces.
• Develop detailed 2D drawings for various chassis components.
• Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and organize technical data within Teamcenter PDM.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or automotive engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of complete chassis design experience.
• Deep proficiency in Catia V5 for creating 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Expert knowledge of Teamcenter PDM and experience working with GBOM.
• Experience in vehicle CV specification design and knowledge of ETRTO.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Göteborg.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-performance car chassis development, specifically brake cooling or formed link arms.
• Skills in aerodynamic surfaces and black trim design.
